Olga is a talented singer-songwriter, performing artist & actress who graces our list of signed songwriters. We offer 3 CDs of her music for artists to cover and as licensed placements.
Welcome Richard to the Songs2Share.com songwriters and artists group. Richard brings with him an extensive catalog of piano, soft rambling piano, new age with an edge sounding toy piano and keyboards. We’ve very happy to represent his work. He also scores his pieces so if you are looking for a great piano song to cover, we have his music posted and avalable through our song licensing programs.
Click - LOGIN and you will be taken to the Media page where you can listen to Songs for Licensing. He is under Instrumentals.
Our great Blues Songwriter - OLGA, has landed some scenes in the new HBO series titled = Treme, which is set in post-Katrina New Orleans and is centered around the lives of local musicians. It is presently filming and looks to make a big splash on their network.
OLGA has signed 3 of her CDs with Songs2Share. We’ve gotten one song onto a playlist that got submited to a client looking for music for a project. John Malcolm, another S2S songwriter got his song onto a Folk call for music playlist. We’re marketing & marketing for those licensed placements as well as - how did Ms. Olga put it - “I’d like to have another artist record my songs.” Yes dear, so would we. We also have an artist song licensing program and promote license for a demo exchange between songwriter and cover artist.
This is Rew - Jewel of New York City. She helped Bee with the song titled Party 2Nite in our song catalog. We are currently thinking on making that a holiday song as it’s great for New Year’s Eve. Rocks, open for genre interpretation, great party vibe.
Since we worked that song Rew & Bee have gone on to start interviewing New York City area musicians and personalities. Here’s a link to their YouTube page of many such videos.
Met this cutie in a driveway. I was carrying a bag of groceries & he was getting his accoustic guitar out of the back seat of his girlfriend’s car. While I cooked, he strummed & sang in the next room. He talked about his music & I asked to take his photo. I felt like this was a meeting of two artistic pilgrims. What a wonderful afternoon.
It is Songs2Share’s goal to video some quality artist interviews. We bought a HD Video Camera for the project and are now learning to use it. This little video of Johnny was taken on my Flip Mino which I just happened to have as I take it along most places. Very small & convenient video camera. Highly recommended.
We met Jim when we needed to put some vocal tracks over an existing backing track. He is very welcoming and helpful. Our first time in his studio and we were hooked. Next time we needed to do the same thing, we went back to Rooster Studios in Homewood Illinois.
Not only does Jim operate the studio with his staff helpers, he also organizes small house concerts in the studio. That’s where we got to see Matthew Bailey perform. That’s where Jim also hosts food drives and other charitable events. You can also throw a party for your kid over at the studio and he will videotape and arrange all sorts of goodies for your special birthday person.
We highly recommend Jim and Rooster Studios. He even plays guitar and also writes songs. He’s on MySpace - so just Google Rooster Studios and if you’re in the neighborhood, give him a visit. Tell him Songs2Share sent ya’!!! That’s Roberta, Matthew and Jim in the photo taken at the studio.
Matthew Bailey is a kind, generous and very talented guitarist. He sat in our front room and spontaneously came up with the melody to a song our vocalist Tia was working. In the studio he laid down two guitar tracks for her with no expectation of compensation. After she put her vocals to his guitar work, a great song titled Two Left Feet was completed. She is so proud of this song. It is the first studio recording of her own song material and we are very thankful for Matthew and his participation.
Karl & I went to see Matthew’s solo performance over the weekend. Above is a photo of Matthew and I taken at Rooster Studios in Homewood, Illinois on February 28, 2009. He recently sent in an MP3 and we’ve got some ideas about a song he’s working. Welcome to the party Matthew. Cheers ~
