Monday InspirationsHere are 3 weekly ideas for song lyric, poems, instrumental titles, photos, video, short story or anything they inspire you to create.  Use the title if you like & make something!

67.  Unicorn Princess
Great title for a fantasy or children’s piece or instrumental.  When I visit a website with a variety of music to choose from, I will click on the most tantalizing title and listen.  The songwriter has 1 chance to make a great first impression and often a great title is the lead.  Write great & catchy titles to get your music noticed.  The Unicorn Princess if flying above the rainbow!!!

68.  Play With Me
Musicians “play” a lot!!!  Are YOU playing out tonight?  Also known as gigging.  Play is a healthy activity and I’m all for more participation.  So I found a helper to add her voice to the vBlog that goes by the same title.  You can watch it under Monday Inspirations vBlog.  Come on baby cakes and Play With Me.  Open to your interpretation.

69.  Do The Math
This is a popular phrase right now and is also a commanding 3 syllables.  This song lyric needs a twist to go with the title.  Make sure to pronounce the TH ending of math - you can give it it’s own syllable count for emphasis.
You plus me equals love.  Do The Math^^^

64.  Lonely Autumn
Leaves are changing color
and the wind is getting cold
Lonely autumn lonely autumn at the door

Yellow brown crimson gold
Warm beauty to have and hold
Lonely autumn lonely autumn at the door

The grasses dry their seeds fly
What was is gone no more no more
Lonely autumn lonely autumn at the door

65.  Music Is My Habit
After doing this music stuff hours and hours upon hours each week, I’m beginning to feel an addiction coming on strong.  Roll a quarter pound in a chocoate sleeve.  Stuff a blue note in my pipe.  Hit the main vein with smooth groove.  Pledge allegiance to the whole note.  Crank the volume because Music Is My Habit.

66.  MixTape Rave & MixTape Wave
That word - mix tape - comes up a lot.  I’m still working on exactly what is a mix tape.  While I’m drumming it in the mind and tapping the table, you probably know what it is.  :-)  So - here goes.  MixTape Rave, covers you with sound.  MixTape Wave, roll you down and stand you up, get you pumped enough to strut -  your stuff - you got the MixTape Rave.

61.  Ballad For The Ball Breakers or Queen Of The Ball Breakers
Recently came across a song titled Ballad For The Heartbreakers and thought that was a lovely title.  Called up this Ballad For The Ball Breakers title which I’ve probably seen somewhere before.  Nowadays the kids use the expression - pussy whipped.  That’s been around for awhile too.  You mostly hear ball breakers on the mafia movies.  It can be a guy-guy thing as well as a woman-man thing.  “Don’t chya breaka my balls!” said with great hand movements.

62.  Packin’ It On
Was having a conversation with A. and we got our hearing wires crossed and I thought she said she was Packin’ It On when she really had said something else.  I said - “OH - great title and private joke thingie…”  We were Packin It On last night at the OK Corral or Let’s go Packin’ It On at the woods or I really feel like Packin’ It On at the dinner table tonight.  It can mean two hundred different scenerios.  Open for interpretation.

63.  Bore Sore or Don’t Bore Me or Bore No More
Do you know someone who bores you?  I do.  He inspired me to write:  You leave me Bore Sore, you’re just a bump on the log.  I want to, I want to fly, I want to ride by your side.  Why do you sit there and stare?  Is there a bird in the tree?
Bore No More, get up!

58.  Shake Your Pickle
While putting fresh picked organic green beans into the refrigerator I noticed Karl’s 2 gallon jars of refrigerator pickles and wondered - Has he been shaking his pickles?  After you mix the pickle brine and put the cukes in, you are supposed to shake the jars regularly.  It was a funny thought.  Shake Your Pickle:-)

59.  The Skid Mark Kid
Years ago I wrote three short children’s stories about being good kids.  My daughter and two other teens went into the recording studio and we recorded them reading the stories.  One title was The Skid Mark Kid inspired by my son’s story of riding his bike through the Interstate overpass Burger King.  It’s a great title for a children’s poem, song, story and certainly anything visual.

60.  FRENZY
When I first started songwriting with a certain Maestro, he would e-mail me “I stayed up until 5am working on this song… you’d better like it…”  There was such FRENZY in his aura I could feel it ten thousand miles away!!!  We’ve all had a little taste of FRENZY.  What did yours sound like?

Great title for an instrumental or healing or spiritual song.  One day I needed some Rest & Reflection so I wrote those three words on a piece of paper and kept my fingernails clean that day.

56.  Black Dog Hot
Both dogs were outside in the summer sun.  When they came in, I patted the balck one and he was noticably hot.  He was Black Dog Hot.

57.  My Best On-Line Flirt!

Cause you’re getting fat
The gravy train baby

The gravy train baby
As a matter of fact
Cut The Gravy Train Baby

53.  Bite The Buzz
My dogs chase flies through the house, hoping to swallow a live one.  It’s worse on the patio when they go after low and slow flying bumble bees, or fast big black wasps.  Today I told Princess Ada, “Don’t Bite The Buzz.”  It’s a great playful children’s title or = bite the buzz can refer to = the gossip, the high, the come-on or the Hollywood buzz.

54.  Stargazin’ With You (a haiku & great title for a love piece)
Stargazin’ With You (5 syllables)
Reach my hands inside your shirt (7 syllables)
Warmth as the air cools (5 syllables)
