153.  Make Me Purr
When you pet a contented kitty, it will make a purring sound.  We associate the word purr, with a happy kitty.  Make Me Purr because I want to be a happy kitty too!

154.  Tease Me As You Undress
We were talking about flirting and teasing and how the French have the art of the strip tease down to a - tee!  You know the famous song lyric…”But you can leave your hat on…”  Well, Tease Me As You Undress, we’ll figure out the rest+

155.  WAVEY
Let’s do a wave!  Put your arms up and stand up, then put your arms down and sit down = all around the stadium.  There is a guy on the Woodstock documentary calls himself Wavey Gravey.  WAVEY is when something moves from end to end.  A good word for music.  Music is WAVEY.

150.  The Blank Stare
We’ve all been talking to someone and noticed they had The Blank Stare on their face - like they were a million miles away.  The Blank Stare is all we can perceive while they float away on a tangent of thought.

151.  Someone To Hold
In the early dawn I want Someone To Hold
When the gale blows I want Someone To Hold
In the noon day sunlight I want Someone To Hold
When spring buds and autumn falls I want Someone To Hold
At 3 a.m., in a quiet room I want Someone To Hold
In the glow of holiday snow I want Someone To Hold
When the year turns I want Someone To Hold

152.  Volume UP!
Volume UP!  Volume UP!  Volume UP!
Are we ready?  1, 2, 3, 4 - bing bang bowella chew wop, bowella chew wop with the Volume UP!  I come over to you and take your hand, eye to eye … Let’s do it!  Are we ready?  Dance baby dance.  Volume UP!

148.  IMPRESSIVE
We come back to a one word title - all the rage these days.  Now let’s do some word play.  I visualize my writing projects like word puzzles.  All the letters are there, all the words are there, I just have to put them in the right order.  IMPRESSIVE - You’re so IMPRESSIVE I want to press against you & give you my impression+

149.  Redirect My Voice
After a stint of divorce stress, my voice went North.  The muscles pulled my larynx out of place - too high.  This is common in singers or people who speak a lot.  I’m massaging it back down, into place.  So I learned to Redirect My Voice.  If your voice is your art, you can Redirect Your Voice to say Yes or No.  This can mean a change of mind, a change in life, taking the path less travelled, going rogue, coming home, wishing on stars.

150.  I’m Getting A Much Needed Buzz on my Tongue & Toes
This is a hippie title inspired perhaps, by some homemade minted black currant lemon wine I fermented.  It was a very good day.  Need I say more :-)

145.  Makin’ Eyes
Many romances start with that first “look.”  You know the one.  The one that says, “Yes I am interested in you.”  That’s Makin’ Eyes darling and it can go on for a moment, an hour or days and nights until one of you makes the first move to talk, or touch or dance.

Makin’ Eyes across the room and now you’re in my arms
Makin’ Eyes across the room and now I’m in your arms

146.  Taming The Garden After Much Rain
We had a soaker this spring and the foilage in the garden grew like a wild jungle.  By the time I got to pulling weeds, they were a foot high.  Taming The Garden After Much Rain can be an instrumental that builds up to that perfect place where the garden is neat and orderly.  Then the calm pause while the gardener removes her gloves, looks over her plot with a smile and sighs.

147.  Living On Fertile Soil
Did a Wikipedia search on the county over and found out this here soil I am living on in Central Illinois is considered one of the top 3 most fertile soils in the world!  Think about  - if nothing could grow in the soil under your feet right now.  What a drag.  Now think the soil under your feet is one of the most fertile in the world.  How soul inspiring.  This is a “green” title for a song, poem, essay or piece of visual art.

142.  The Temple Crash
Sometimes I get a title, and idea and write it down only to develop it later.  I’m looking at this title - The Temple Crash - and have no idea what I was thinking when writing it down.  It could be about a headache, the kind that pulses in your temples.  It can be about terrorists bombing another temple, although I never write about that.  It can be about the death of the physical body or temple.  Hmmm..  It does roll off the tonque quite nicely.  The Temple Crash.

143.  That Man!
This is rather fast like a Koko Taylor song.

That Man!  He ain’t my idea of a good time.
doom-doom-doom
That Man!  He calls the sharks on up to the shore line
doom-doom-doom
That Man! …  and on and on about what he does that makes you want to sing+

144.  Destruction Of Intimacy
Someone was lamenting about the Internet and its ability to create the Destruction Of Intimacy so I jotted this down.  I’m an intimacy lover so anything that comes between me and intimacy is a demon.  This is a dark piece; a destruction.  Waves crashing, moors coming apart, the lighthouse topples over.  Destruction Of Intimacy - and then the world ends. (smile)

139.  A Car Went By
I was doing this, I was doing that
We were up here, We were down there
She was going out, He was coming in
And then…
A Car Went By

140.  Spark Me Baby!
Was reading a piece of erotica and the lover said to the lovee “Spark Me Baby!“  What a great title.  The author first used the phrase in reference to lighting a cigarette.  She used it a couple more times and at least one of them was in reference to a more sensual matter - something that comes on BEFORE lighting the cigarette.  :-)

141.  Thanks For Throwing The Bird On The Roof
Here’s a title for a longer piece; longer than a haiku or a song lyric.

We have had starlings nesting near the front porch several times.  One day I heard the sad sound of bird wings beating inside the front closet walls.  Later the dogs chased the baby starling who’d gotten into the enclosed porch.  After hours of trying to get food & water down it’s throat, Karl came home.  He took the bird outside & threw it on the roof as its parents watched.  I said = “Thanks For Throwing The Bird On The Roof.”

136.  Know What You Want Girl
Whachuwant (Whachuwant?)
Are You A Girl?
Do You Know What You Want?
I want you to get it but first-
Tell me what it is stirs you up!

137.  Good To Get Away
Bill & Hillary Clinton conceived their daughter Chelsea at the Chelsea hotel.  I read that’s why Bill wanted to name his girl = Chelsea (Give her good weather on her wedding day- eh!).  Because he “knew” that’s where she was conceived.  & I read Hillary said they’d of had more kids if they’d taken more vacations. :-)

Good To Get Away can mean a vacation, a three minute repose at your desk, an erotic fantasy.  I also read people who take a week long vacation every year live longer than those who don’t.  So take a deliberate = Good To Get Away = moment!!!

138.  Perfect Buzz
He’s coming…  He’s coming closer.  I can hear…  I can hear past the static…  Yes he’s coming, yes he’s close…  He was on a berry I just drank the berry… he is berry close… and I’m coming, coming up… to the Perfect Buzz

133.  Nightmare Dreamer
Yeasts and bacteria partying in the gut, emotions wailing in the mind, turbulence of the spirit all can create the Nightmare Dreamer.  This title works for a short story or a mood title for an instrumental.  I’ve read people with a lot of creativity frequently have “vivid” dreams.  Whoa!  Last night I had a couple doosies and this title popped up.  Here’s to a good night’s sleep+ Zzzzzzzzz…..

134.  Best of Everything
Fairy tales and myths are good for us.  It is actually healthy to believe in miracles.  It fuels our ability to hope.  When I say you deserve the Best of Everything, of course it is a metaphor.  But it is a true desire.  I do want you to have the Best of Everything.

135.  Comin’ Up!
A young lady who twists her words in the contemporary way gave me this title.  In talking about the lows her and her friends were experiencing, and then telling me how they were making choices that were changing the direction of their paths, she said - “We are Comin’ Up!”  Ah - so.  Comin’ Up!.  Gonna bang that brass knocker and snaggle the pot of gold.

130.  Tuck Me In (bed tonight)
Tuck Me In
with words of love and a promise of forever.  Tuck Me In bed tonight with floral wafts from opened windows.  Kiss my forehead with lips that know the moon.  Breathe for me and your sound will be my lullaby.

131.  Beautiful Exaggeration
He is the most Beautiful Exaggeration of my knight in shining armor.  He only exists on paper or in my mind; perhaps behind the long velvet curtains at the ruffles of the stage.  His face if both feminine and male and he looks young.  His body is hard like a man.  His voice sounds like a piano crooning through open kitchen windows on a hot summer night.  And his eyes are green if ever a cat has green eyes.

132.  You Can Be God Or Nothing
True Story.  My friend & I were talking.  Actually - he was talking at me.  I watched his lips intently as I decided if his sharing of information was entertaining or boring.  I said to him - “You Can Be God Or Nothing“  & he says - “Where did that come from?”  & I says = ”Well, I’m trying to decide if you are entertaining me or boring me & you know what, it all takes place in the mind.  It can go either way.  The mind is where a lot of life happens.  You Can Be God Or Nothing.  It’s up to my mind to decide.”  He said - “I don’t want to be God.”  :-)

127.  Big Time
1.  We’ll have a Big Time when the band begins to play.
2.  Get in the car babe.  I’m gonna’ take you to the Big Time.
3.  We’ve had a Big Time honey and now I gotta go.
4.  Put your sights on the Big Time - That’s how you learn to fly!
5.  She’s a Big Time mama really knows how to shake the floor+

128.  The Beer Hop
We’ve all heard of the Polish Polka, the Mambo, the Frog, the Swim, the Twist, the Tango, the various Waltzes, the Fox Trot, line dancing, the Margarita, the Funky Chicken, the Hokey Pokey, break dancing, and on and on = now let’s do The Beer Hop.  We drink 5 beers and then we hop around the room, all in a train line, holding onto the person in front of you via hands on their hips.  I once saw my husband pull a train on the dance floor in this fashion.  He even pulled the pretend whistle cord and made the Whooo Whooo sound of the engine.  He was onto The Beer Hop.  You be the judge :-)

129.  Listen To The Dandelions
“Dandelion - Taraxacum officinale (yellow) North America

Positive qualities:  Dynamic, effortless energy; lively activity balanced with inner ease

Patterns of imbalance:  Overly tense, especially in the musculature of the baody, overstriving and hard-driving

The soul needing Dandelion essence feels a natural intensity and love for life.  Such individuals are compulsive “doers” who enter with great zeal and zest into many activities.  Unfortunately, they can over-plan and over-form their lives beyond the natural capacity of the body to sustain such intensity.  Furthermore, such persons may become unable to experience more contained moments of reflective activity.  The unexpressed inner life of the soul and the harsh demands on the body collide to create exteme tension, especially in the musculature.  The Dandelion flower teaches these individuals how to listen more closely to emotional messages and bodily needs.  As tension is released the soul feels more inner ease and balance, allowing spiritual forces to flow through the body in a dynamic, effortless way.”  Excerpt from Flower Essence Repertory by Patricia Kaminski & Richard Katz

I love dandelions.  I make dandelion wine.  I’ve got a batch of spring berry wine fermenting of which I added a cup of dandelion petals to the brew.  The energy of the dandelion flower is to help balance the soul.  Listen To The Dandelions = are they calling you to touch their petals?
